Merry Christmas to everyone! I for one have had a great one. Hunger games poster,
books, duct tape, and boooookkksss!
There is one thing missing, though. Judging you as a sane person, you probably read the title, so you know what it is. Due to some rule a guy one day made up I must repeat that particularly cold substance; snow.
Okay, so no one made up a rule saying you have to repeat a word in your title. I just saw that it was what most people did, and I don’t want to be extremely abnormal (am I?) so I did what I did.
Now, lets get back to snow. Ah, what is winter if not snow? Cold? So now I am stuck with crappy, crappy cold, no snow, nothing to ski on, nothing to etch yourself an angel onto, nothing, even, to let us have fights that grownups approve of because all that will hit us is wet, squishy stuff.
Obviously, I can’t do anything about it. Hope, actually. I have read enough books that have talked about hope. I am a bibliophycopath, after all. But hoping, to me, being honest, is just a way of saying false patience.
On My Novel:
It is still in the planning/outlining phase, but I have the title pretty much nailed down, and the “bad guy.” The main characters are still blurry, and their names are not official, but most of them won’t be very nice. The book will be an adventure, but it will be darker than most adventures. The protagonist will be a male. I wish I were more comfortable with writing the opposite gender (as the protagonist, this is not an all-boys book!) but I am really not yet. Maybe once I grow as an author.
